I’ve played the B-side (see #2,014), here’s the A-side. Scott Harris, actually John Vis, sends us some exquisite pop psych from . . . the Netherlands. Vis was also a member of Disillusion ‘21. (https://www.nldiscografie.nl/scott-harris) “Sad Eyes” is “a minor production from the Netherlands which made it onto a UK pressing . . . . and sank into obscurity immediately”. (liner notes to the CD comp Piccadilly Sunshine:Volumes 11-20: A Compendium of Rare Pop Curios from the British Psychedelic Era) I’d take that as a badge of honor.
